Recommended for Preschool through Second Grade

"The Little Star That Could" is a program specially designed for preschool through perhaps second grade. The program is written in a "story" format using 19 different characterizations, in cartoon form, to represent various stars and planets in our solar system. In a very elementary way, the following information will be presented:

• the differences between stars, planets, and moons;
• stars have different colors because they have different temperatures;
• stars are born and stars die;
• some stars are single while others are double; and,
• the characteristics of the planets in our solar system.
